As a not-for-profit cooperative, our goal is to promote art awareness and educational projects for the
community. Artists belong to Art Uptown because it's a cooperative gallery, owned and operated by local
artists. By becoming a website member your artwork becomes accessible to hundreds of potential art
buyers each week. You also benefit by having a professional sales staff in our downtown Sarasota gallery
to help finalize your sales. If you would like to be represented on our website please fill out this
application so that our Website Membership Committee can jury your work to be accepted as website
member.
Initial Website Setup expense is $30 and monthly dues are $10 per month. Dues of $120 are collected
annually on July 1st and are to be paid in full. Members joining after July will be prorated for the
remaining months at $10 per month.
Please submit 7-10 JPG images of your recent work approximately I Megabyte each on a CD include a list
of images (File Names) with their Title, Medium, Size, Framed or Unframed if 2D artwork and the price.
Your WebPages will have a brief Artist Statement and up to ten artworks for sale. All images for website
must be available for sale to qualify.
