Art Uptown is an artist owned gallery comprised of over 27 local, professional artists plus website-only members who receive the benefit of an established physical gallery website exposure. The gallery was established in 1980 and it has always represented a wide range of talented artists, many of whom have received national recognition. The gallery is a not-for-profit business operating in a retail setting. Our full time sales staff handles all web member sales, enabling the artist to concentrate their time and energy on creating art. To reap the benefits of this membership, you will need to fill out the application form below and submit 7-10 jpg images of your recent work, approximately 1 Mb each, on a CD. Include a list of images, their titles, medium, sizes, whether framed or unframed, and the prices. Include pertinent information related to your artwork such as Artist Statement, Biography, and Resumé. Web artist's pages have a brief Artist Statement and up to ten artworks for sale. All images must be available for sale. Initial Website Setup expense is $30 and monthly dues are $10 per month. Dues of $120 are collected annually on July 1st and are to be paid in full at that time. Members joining after July will be prorated for the remaining months at $10 per month.
