Max Bullock
Max's artistic career is many faceted and Includes work in various media. Her
works hang in private collections throughout the United States.
A graduate of Layton School of Art, Milwaukee; she also studied at the Chicago
Art Institute and her career began as an illustrator for Gimbels. She was a member
of the Washington D.C. Illustrators Club and specializes in architectural drawings
and portraits. Max's work. emphasizes on-the-spot drawings of buildings, cityscapes,
the old and the new, the elegant and the ugly, the monumental and common place.
Travels throughout the United States, Canada, Central America and Europe have
produced a notable body of work. A one person show at the National Press Club,
Washington D.C. and the commission of the portrait of Major General Clara L. Adams-Ender,
the first African American female general in the U.S: Military are among the highlights
of her career.
